Liberty Weeps

The Statue of Liberty weeps, her torch has been drown out
by the blood of the innocent.

Lives lost, in unjust killings.

The chains at her feet have been reforged, by laws of men
who are lesser than those they govern.

Her book is tattered, worn
full of names, full of death.

When will our people open their eyes and see through all of these lies?
All of these unconstitutional laws that have been written.

All of our freedoms we have lost, to pay more taxes
to give more power to the government.

She just needs to throw down her once majestic crown
because liberty no longer rules this land.

“Give me your tired, your poor, your huddled masses yearning to breathe free,
the wretched refuse of your teeming shore, send these, the homeless,
tempest-tost to me, I lift my lamp beside the golden door!”

None of this means anything anymore.

The Statue of Liberty weeps, her torch has been drown out
by the blood of the innocent.

Stranglehold

Gasping for a breath,
A snake coiled around its prey.
Thoughts in stranglehold.

Siren’s Song

The siren’s song calls to me
the melody of death’s silence.

As I’m trying to keep my ship off the rocks
the waves of life push me ever closer.

Her song offers the peace I long for.

Scrubbin’..

Keep them opinions
Where they belong

Straight in the shitter

Flush’em down

That stink
That stank

The thought
Of you havin’
Control

Over another

Take that flatulence

That smelly
Burnin’ your asshole
Diarrhea

Get a whiff

Do you smell it

The thought
That’s not

Even close
To bein’ acceptable

Tryin’ to impose
Your beliefs

Onto
Someone else

Drop it all

Straight in the shitter

I ain’t no quitter

But to hell
With all that

Nonsense

Keep your opinions
To yourself

‘Cause I ain’t scrubbin’
Your toilet
And you ain’t scrubbin’
Mine

But it is time
To flush that shit
Down the drain

The smell
Is gettin’ repulsive

Dragging Myself…

This doubt
I carry

It’s heavy

Weighing me
Down

Deep in my mind

Seeing with
Closed eyes

My failures

The things
That haunt
My dreams

Did I say dreams

How can they
Be dreams

When I awaken
To nightmares

This life
So full of doubt

It’s heavy

I carry it
All

Dragging myself

Behind me
