Glory Days
Sometimes I
wonder what
happened to
all those
beautiful girls
that rejected
me in the school
playground.
All those
beautiful girls
that rejected
me in the bars
and clubs. Some
of them truly
pitiless. Creating
scars that burn
to this day.
Where are those
women? Do
they hurt anyone
anymore.
Or is it them
that are getting
hurt now. Old
and growing
older. Looking
at a face in
the mirror
they don’t
want to see.
A face they
thought would
last forever.
