TAKING A BREAK DURING A LONG WALK
my hair blows
madman style
gusts of winds
like ghosts
of strangers
I’m standing
in this day
the wicked
sunlight in my face
it is almost spring
not that
that matters
garbage
swirls in
the parking lot
my mind
spins in it
and I wonder
how I’m going to
take another step
