Creative Digging And Drafting
that is all a big elephant – that is all
a big elephant –
but not very visual either –
‘creative energy’ is flowing –
bursting – good and bad signs –
all good overall – and I do feel
a tad performative, but that is OK too,
for now – keep it going – New York,
old towns come in for reformation, urgently
but not –
would I trade it all for silence –
for them not to be there – what do
people feel – that is the stage I am at – a bit unbroken
with it all – unfeeling again – and that has
to be it – everyone unfeels the same – it’s
the media’s fault – something in all that – long
drafts we don’t get to see –
But just to journal and not move from this or the sofa:
I can feel that become an audience
even in this notebook –
and I am my own biggest fan.
