FREE FOOD
I showed up at my friend’s
graduation party
after failing out of school
it was this huge celebration
with tons of people
who all knew I flunked
nobody could figure out how to talk to me
I didn’t even know
what to say to myself
I stood there alone
with a slice of pizza
drooping
