Portrait of a Wicked World

Crumbles of a ravaged colony
infrequent like a laden wool
of distress dubbing near the thread.

I’ve started with bare feet,
when I still felt the earth breathing
underneath my soles.

A mad man
tattered clothes
a tiny hope of seeing tomorrow,
I bought in,
and my feet were wrapped up.

I lost the feeling!

The ecstasy,
one I’ve always felt
while nature peeps on me
gone down the refuse!

Never to come back again!

This world is 25 miles away
from mine.

How dare it try to loot my recalls,
memories I’ve been retaining since I was nine!

That was where it began,
and I loathe the world
for this!
