Normal
I’m pretty sure
normal is a
made-up thing
It can be a backlash
on a fishing reel
Sometimes it is still
as water in a glass
It can be passing
knowledge of what
has died
that plants the seed
of a new start
It can be ashes
of the past
from the flames
that still burn
Reasons that vanish
and forget what
doesn’t matter
anymore
Sometimes it is
not tension
that is felt
but distance
Normal is not
wearing the fashion
or throwing away
your passion
Normal is not
becoming like one
of the sheep
