Heard

There’s a place on the porch
Where two lizards live
In darkness, a detour
Or a dead end, a stopping
Place without ever starting
A cancelation, still, life plans
Or does not, things happen
Or they don’t, so plan it.

About

Fun and fruition
Rise up. Tomorrow or
Today, absorb, compose
Hear, be the love I never gave
Sing of sequins and sewers
Wait not, listen and act
With inspiration.

Lyric

Three women
Went to pray
Walking together
In the woods
Up and down
Tree lined lanes
Their voices in unison
Became roses.
