Am I so terrible
Such a standoffish person
That other writers feel the need to bring loaded pistols to a poetry reading
I say tons of things they find offensive
But on the mic when I read about sticking up the coffeehouse
And robbing fellow poets
It was strictly for shock value
I honestly thought they would laugh
Just another case where I went too far
Further alienating myself from my peers
At this point I don’t see myself as a poet or writer of any kind
I’m just a mentally unstable person who writes down all my bad thoughts on paper
Then calls it art
